A Greenwood County drug distribution case has been developing after a traffic stop in Eureka early this month.
A Greenwood County deputy handled a traffic stop June 1, leading to the arrest of Kirk Ray Warren. Officially, Warren is charged with single counts of distributing methamphetamine and paraphernalia, both within 1,000 feet of the USD 389 Eureka district office. He is also charged with unlawfully receiving proceeds from a drug sale.
Court dates are currently pending.
Separately, two people were arrested in Eureka late last week on suspicion of drug distribution activity.
Greenwood County deputies executed a search warrant this past Thursday. Details are pending, but deputies arrested Misty White on suspicion of distributing methamphetamine and paraphernalia, possessing paraphernalia, aggravated child endangerment, obstructing apprehension in a felony case, criminal trespass and an out-of-county warrant. Also, Leonard Arie was arrested on suspicion of possessing marijuana, meth and paraphernalia.
Formal charges against both individuals are currently pending.
