Emporia’s Metropolitan Area Planning Commission and Lyon County’s Board of Zoning Appeals have back-to-back meetings Tuesday evening.
The Board of Zoning Appeals will consider a variance request from the city’s building setback requirements before adjourning.
Immediately afterward, the Planning Commission will consider rezoning of two addresses, 600 and 626 US West Highway 50, following recent annexations as the city changes the zoning from county parcel to city parcel types at both locations.
The meeting slate begins at 6 pm at the Municipal Court Room.
