*The Cottonwood River at Emporia is now in a flood warning from Friday afternoon to Saturday morning after a prior warning period from Thursday night to Friday evening. The river was at 18.50 feet as of 7:30 am and should crest at flood stage of 20 feet early Friday afternoon.
