Sensory Swim is coming to the Jones Aquatic Center this weekend.
JAC will host two sensory swim sessions from 9:30 am to 11:30 am on Saturday and July 26.
Aquatic Center Supervisor Jennifer Wegener says there’s a need for sensory swim events in the community.
The cost for the sensory swim will be the same as regular business hours, $3 for youth ages 3-16 and $5 for adults. Wegener says this is a trial run for the sensory swims and see what aquatic center staff can do to make it a regular event during the summer months in the future.
