A Gardner man sustained potentially serious injuries following an accident in Osage County late Sunday morning.
According to the Kansas Highway Patrol, the accident was reported at Interstate 35 mile marker 167.5 southbound at 11 am. The KHP crash log reports that 39-year-old Samuel A. Krehbiel of Gardner was traveling southbound when a gust of wind hit his 2016 Suzuki motorcycle, causing him to lose control, enter the median and crash.
Krehbiel was taken to Olathe Medical Center with suspected serious injuries and was wearing a helmet at the time of the accident. His current condition is unknown.
