Radio equipment and an entrance application are the main items of business up for consideration for Lyon County Commissioners when they convene for their regular action meeting Thursday.
Commissioners will consider approving Lyon County Emergency Manager Jarrod Fell’s request for the purchase of 400 weather radios from Midland Radio Corporation for a total of just over $10,400. The purchase will be paid for in part by a federal match of just over $7,800 with a local match of just over $2,600.
Separately, Lyon County Engineer Wayne Scritchfield will submit an entrance application for Trey Sommers in the 1900 block of Road U for commission approval. The meeting will begin at 9 am inside of the Lyon County Courthouse Commission Chambers.
