Having been open for about three weeks, Wagon Wheel Grill and Bar had its official ribbon-cutting ceremony at its new location Wednesday.
Co-owner Jerrod Mai says it was a huge relief to get to this point after renovations took longer than expected.
Co-owner Kelli Mai says family and community support led to a successful relaunch.
Half-price appetizers were part of Wednesday’s celebration.
Wagon Wheel has been listed as Emporia’s oldest current restaurant and had been at 2909 West Ninth for decades before starting the moving process in December to 2918 West Highway 50 Suite C.
