Thunderstorms aren’t a good bet Saturday. Neither is severe weather, but both can’t be ruled out.
Storms could develop at any time, but the National Weather Service says the afternoon is the most likely time for strong to borderline severe storms affecting much of the KVOE listening area. The Storm Prediction Center has a marginal severe weather risk, mainly for wind, along and north of a line from Cassoday to near Hartford to Waverly. Besides wind gusts up to 60 mph, storms could also generate heavy rainfall although flooding is not currently expected.
Looking ahead, there are slight to moderate chances of more showers and storms all next week. Severe weather is not anticipated.
KVOE and KVOE.com will have updates.
