A significant housing and commercial development returns to the Metropolitan Area Planning Commission on Tuesday.
Board members will consider approval of both the final Planned Unit Development and final plat, or layout, for the Cedarbrook Meadows Addition officially planned for 4500 West 18th. Developers have requested permission to build nearly 130 homes and at least one commercial pad in a tract of land along the north side of West 18th between Jones Aquatic Center and Road G. The Planning Commission has requested larger lot sizes, both in December and again in March. Adjustments, if agreed to, would lead to around 100 homes instead.
The project would include nearly 10 acres of commercial space on the east side of Road G immediately north of Frontier Farm Credit. Homes would be built across 18th from the DeBauge Family Sports Complex and space set to be occupied by Stormont Vail Health’s nearly $45 million medical office complex once that facility is built. There would also be two retention ponds in the development.
No other agenda items are currently scheduled.
The meeting is at 6 pm Tuesday at the Municipal Court Room.
