Emporia city commissioners have several items ahead for their action meeting Wednesday.
Commissioners will have a public hearing connected to a Community Development Block Grant application benefiting improvements to the DeBauge Family Soccer Complex.
In addition, commissioners could set a public hearing date for discussing the revenue neutral rate. Commissioners could also appoint members to the Human Relations Commission and Homelessness Advisory Board.
The study session to follow will be a tour of the Emporia Fire headquarters under construction at 518 Market. In between, commissioners will have an executive session for economic development matters.
The action meeting begins at 11 am at the Municipal Court Room. The study meeting will start afterward at White Auditorium City Conference Room 1AB.
