With the Burlington Northern Santa Fe crossing now closed at Road G, another closure has been announced west of Emporia.
Lyon County Emergency Communications says the crossing at Road F is now closed until further notice. Emergency Communications also says residents can use an access road near G and get around the construction zones.
This comes as work continues at eight different crossings in Emporia. Work at Carter, Constitution, Cottonwood, East, Exchange, Merchant, Sylvan and Union could last the rest of the week.
