A small grass fire in southern Lyon County triggered a response from two Lyon County fire departments Tuesday.
The fire at Roads 60 and U triggered responses from Olpe and Hartford-Neosho Rapids. Olpe Fire Chief Wade Schmidt says the fire was started by hay equipment and burned about an acre of nearby grass. There are no reports of fire extending to nearby structures.
No injuries were reported.
