Above-ground work is underway again at the Emporia Pavilions.
Phase 4 construction is now underway with steel beams now largely erected over the last two weeks after intermittent ground work the last several months.
Construction will lead to Ulta Beauty and PetSmart opening directly east of Old Navy early next year, based on the current schedule.
Hobby Lobby was the first store at Pavilions, opening to shoppers in 2017. Phase 2 stores included Marshalls, Ross Dress for Less and Shoe Dept Encore, which opened in late 2022 and early 2023. The move of Maurices from Flinthills Mall and the openings of Five Below and Old Navy took place last fall.
Developer Spencer Thomson says there is retail space immediately west of Hobby Lobby, and there is restaurant space immediately along West 24th. Thomson is working with at least one restaurant to get it as part of the development.
