Several railroad crossings in Lyon County remain closed.
Lyon County Emergency Communications says work continues on Merchant Street in downtown Emporia. Additional work is underway at Roads F and G, although the crossing at Road A — the Lyon-Chase county line — has reopened. There is no word on when the active closures in Lyon County will reopen.
Speaking of Chase County, the Sheriff’s Office says the crossing at ZZ Road is closed at least through July 31.
