Several area fire departments went to a reported structure fire Sunday evening.
Emergency response was requested just before 9 pm to 334 US Highway 56, about two miles west of Bushong. Allen-Admire Fire Chief Tharon Mott says crews found minimal damage to barn rafters and some 1×6 lumber boards damaged. Early indications are there was an unspecified electrical issue at fault.
Besides Allen-Admire, Americus and Council Grove fire units responded.
