A local option for selling scrap metal is no more.
Advantage Metals Recycling, 302 Graham, posted the closure Friday. The closure is effective immediately and sends people to the business’ Topeka location for service. Further details about the closure are pending. The business phone simply says staff are unavailable.
Advantage Metals was known locally for offering a place to recycle old vehicles. The company still has at least 10 locations in the Central Plains, most located in Kansas and Missouri.
