Lyon County commissioners have several bids, bills and quotes to handle as part of their action session Thursday.
County Engineer Wayne Scritchfield will present a mussel survey quote from BioSurvey Group in the amount of almost $25,000. This involves work at the Rocky Ford Bridge. Also, Scritchfield will present a better than $10,000 bill from Cummins Sales and Service to repair a generator for the sign shop and a shed after it failed last year.
Separately, Facilities Director Robbie Weiss has two quotes to present, one for almost $26,000 from Stanfield Roofing to re-coat the Extension Building roof and another for over $7,500 from American Equipment Company for a snow plow.
Another discussion point is the fence viewing on Road 220 near Road M that was the focus of Wednesday’s study meeting. There is one scheduled executive session for non-elected personnel.
The action session begins at 9 am Thursday at the County Courthouse Commission Chambers.
