Classes are just two weeks away for USD 253 Emporia Public Schools.
As the district continues its late-summer preparations, it’s also encouraging parents who haven’t enrolled students to do so as soon as possible. Community Relations Director Lyndel Landgren:

While the last-minute enrollment push continues, Landgren says teachers are getting their spaces ready to go.
Jump Start is coming Aug. 19 for students that are either new to their respective school buildings or are new to the district. The first official first day of classes is Aug. 20. Both are half-days for students.
