A crash in Sedgwick County on Wednesday led to a hospital trip for a Council Grove resident.
The Kansas Highway Patrol says the wreck on Kansas Highway 96 involved three vehicles around 9:45 am. An SUV driven by 54-year-old Mary Ann Morrison of Wichita was westbound on K-96 and was following two other vehicles, including a car driven by 25-year-old Elizabeth Florence of Council Grove. Morrison didn’t slow down to avoid a wreck with the Florence vehicle, which was then pushed into a car driven by 31-year-old Victoria Andrews of Wichita.
Florence was the only person hospitalized, taken to Saint Francis in Wichita with possible injuries.
