Republicans are not lining up to challenge Roger Marshall as he runs for another term in the US Senate. Democrats are, including an official in former president Joe Biden’s administration.
Christy Davis, at one time the state director for the USDA’s Rural Development program, is among several Democrats vying for the seat. Davis has also served as an historical preservation specialist for the Kansas Historical Society and as executive director of Symphony in the Flint Hills before her federal appointment.
Davis joins Michael Soetart and Anne Parelkar as Democrat candidates for the post.
