Emporia Fire has been called out to a reported utility pole fire.
The call went out shortly before 7:45 am. The fire in question has been reported near Roads 120 and T. Details are currently pending.
No electric outages have been reported southeast of Emporia, but around 100 Evergy customers are offline in Green County after storm activity early Monday. Close to 50 4 Rivers customers in Lyon and Coffey counties are offline.
Separately, several Lyon County fire departments responded to a reported structure fire on Allen’s west side shortly before 6:30 am. Allen-Admire Fire Chief Tharon Mott says investigation crews found no signs of fire in the 500 block of Wiser. Also responding were Emporia, Miller and Reading fire crews.
