The Emporia Recreation Commission is adjusting its meeting schedule this month.
Normally meeting on the third Monday of a given month, the Rec Commission Board is meeting at 5:30 pm Wednesday. The schedule will have the Rec Commission discuss a hearing date and location change for its annual budget and revenue neutral rate public hearing. Board members could also approve a nearly $46,000 bid from Plumbing by Spellman for pool repairs.
An update on the Kansas State High School Activities Association state volleyball tournament is also planned.
Wednesday’s meeting follows a brief special meeting Monday for an attorney-client privilege executive session.
