One person was transported from the scene of an injury accident in far west Emporia Tuesday morning.
According to the Emporia Fire Department, emergency crews were called to the intersection of West Sixth and Overlander Road just after 9:40 am for a report of an injury accident. Emporia Battalion Chief Ryan Conley tells KVOE News one person was taken to Newman Regional Health by ambulance with undisclosed injuries.
Initial indications are the accident involved a single vehicle; however, further details are pending an investigation, which the Emporia Police Department is leading.
