The Emporia State University Foundation and Alumni Association is filling out its leadership team.
On Friday, the Foundation announced the appointment of Marcia Novacek as Vice President for Alumni and Constituent Engagement. Novacek most recently served as senior market director at Akkodis, where she managed large-scale information technology and engineering consulting partnerships as part of overall business development work. Novacek is an Emporia State alum, gaining a Bachelor of Science in psychology and becoming active in the Chi Omega sorority during her time as a student.
Novacek’s duties will include developing a “bold, expansive” engagement model aimed at creating and bolstering connections with alums, students, student parents and university friends and partners.
Novacek officially begins her new duties Sept. 2.
