With Labor Day Weekend coming up, travel is expected to ratchet up in Kansas. Shawn Steward, AAA Kansas Spokesman, says travel continues to be high in Kansas due to a variety of factors.
Steward says the average price of gas is $2.84 a gallon in Kansas, the 10th cheapest in the country, which further aids travel in the state. Steward has some tips for travelers who plan to drive over the Labor Day Holiday period.
Steward made his comments on Tuesday’s KVOE Newsmaker 3 segment.
