The Regional Development Association of East Central Kansas’ Board of Directors has a special meeting coming Tuesday afternoon.
Board members have planned an executive session to discuss non-elected personnel, and they have left open the possibility of action following that closed-door discussion. Information on unspecified other business matters will also be discussed.
The special meeting comes with the RDA president position still to be filled on a permanent basis after Chuck Scott was placed on leave and then resigned in January 2024. Jim Witt led the RDA on an interim basis for around a year before Lyle Butler was named to succeed Witt, again in an interim role. The RDA board reached an agreement with Butler in late July to stay on as interim president until a permanent successor was hired.
The special meeting will be at 4 pm Tuesday at the Trusler Business Center.
