Lyon County Commissioners are set to consider a change in local ordinances when they convene for their regular action meeting later this week.
Early in the meeting, commissioners will consider approval of a resolution for limiting open burning in the county. Lyon County Counselor Molly Priest will present the resolution.
Commissioners also have one legal executive session scheduled on top of the regular commission reports. Commissioners will also consider signing a letter of support for Lyon County Area Transportation, which is seeking to submit a grant application for capital and operating assistance as part of the other business portion of the meeting.
The meeting will begin at 9 am inside the Lyon County Courthouse Commission Chambers.
