After a brief weather delay, work is starting Thursday on repairing part of Road G near Emporia.
The Lyon County Highway Department had planned to work on a creek crossing Wednesday, but wet conditions after heavy rainfall through the Labor Day weekend delayed the project by a day.
Work should be completed Friday, weather permitting.
