Foggy conditions are a concern north and east of Emporia on Saturday morning.
Osage and Wabaunsee counties are in a dense fog advisory until 9 am, with visibility down to a quarter-mile or less. Drivers need to slow down, use low-beam headlights and increase the distance between their vehicles and others nearby if they go through fog.
Meanwhile, extended rainfall did not lead to excessive rainfall Friday.
The KVOE studios got 0.15 inches of rain after all-day shower activity. Other totals:
*Emporia Municipal Airport: 0.11 inches
*800 block Lawrence: 0.15 inches
*Eureka Milliken Airport: 0.24 inches
The weekend should be sunny and dry with high temperatures in the upper 70s. The next chance of rain is a decent chance of showers and storms early Tuesday.
If you have rain totals, message the KVOE Bluestem Farm and Ranch Supply text line at 620-342-5863.
