Nobody was hurt after a crash at the Kansas Turnpike’s Emporia service exit late Friday night.
The Kansas Highway Patrol says the crash happened just before 10:30 pm as a northbound semi, driven by 30-year-old Mohammed Muuse of Barron, Wisconsin, was trying to use the Turnpike’s offramp to the service exit but was traveling at an unspecified unsafe speed. The truck went off the ramp to the right, hit two delineator posts and a traffic sign, and then re-entered the ramp — only to overturn and hit another sign.
Muuse was wearing his seatbelt and did not need medical transport afterward.
