The owner of Emporia’s newest hotel says the facility in west Emporia should be open to the public before the end of the year.
KMG Hotels says the Fairfield Inn by Marriott at 3010 Eaglecrest should be open by mid-December and should reach the substantial completion construction phase by the end of this month. Furnishings and equipment could well be installed in October, along with the full leadership team.
Nearly 90 hotel rooms, including 22 suites, are being built. The conference center will also feature social event occupancy for over 300 people and banquet occupancy for over 250, according to General Manager Paul Oltmanns.
