The community is once again invited to a special event highlighting all of the organizations set to benefit from community donations later this year.
The Emporia Community Foundation will host its third annual Match Day Video Premiere event on Friday, September 19, starting at 2 pm on the third floor of the Lyon County History Center. The event is free to attend and will showcase all 35 non-profit entities involved in this year’s fundraiser.
In a news release from ECF on Monday, Community Foundation Executive Director Linda Keheres-Schmidt stated, “We encourage everyone to come out and hear directly from the leaders of the various nonprofit agencies in our community as they talk about their mission and share stories about the great work being done.”
The 2025 Match Day will take place from midnight to 11:59 pm on Monday, November 17th. In addition to the video event, residents can continue to learn more about this year’s Match Day participants every Friday on KVOE’s Talk of Emporia through October 17th.
