Budget, 911, CDBG funds and more items are coming before the Lyon County Commission when it convenes for its regular action meeting Thursday.
One of the main items of focus will be a pair of public hearings on the 2026 revenue-neutral rate and budget, which are scheduled for 10:15 am and 10:30 am. Following those hearings, commissioners could take action to approve both items.
Separately, commissioners will consider a request to send the new 911 emergency dispatch facility project out to bid. A request for the authorization for a community development block grant funding application in support of Flint Hills Technical College, human resources policy updates and a new moving permit application will also be given consideration.
The meeting will begin at 9 am inside the Lyon County Courthouse Commission Chambers.
