The city of Emporia says the Burlington Northern Santa Fe crossing at Commercial Street will have work done next week.
The current plan has the crossing closed Monday and Tuesday. Traffic will be detoured to the Merchant Street crossing.
Residents are asked to be cautious, follow the posted traffic control signage and consider alternate routes. Residents can always track local construction projects and related detours or other adjustments online at emporiaks.gov/livemap.
