The David Traylor Zoo’s Zoo Brew Night in the Wild event is coming up on Friday. Brenda Young is the Director of the David Traylor Zoo in Emporia and says the zoo and zoo education center will be closed on Friday to the public, as staff will be busy preparing for the event that evening.
Young details where in the zoo the event will be at and some different vendors and entertainment that will help make it a fun night.
EFOZ member Colleen Mitchell credits the community support of the zoo as vital to the success of the zoo in Emporia, and says they are grateful and lucky for support from local businesses and the community as a whole.
Zoo Brew and Night in the Wild will be open to the public starting at 5 p.m. Tickets are $50 each and can be purchased online at www.efoz.org and Emporia Friends of the Zoo. You can also call the David Traylor Zoo office at 620-341-4365.
