Rain chances — and projected rain totals — are lowering with the weekend now underway.
Friday’s forecast for the weekend indicated good chances of showers and storms off-and-on essentially all weekend with up to an inch of rainfall possible areawide. Forecasts now have a largely dry Saturday, followed by good chances of rain Sunday. However, rain amounts now appear to be less than half an inch total for the weekend.
Rain chances are high Monday night through Wednesday, and the National Weather Service Forecast Points website indicates an inch or more of rain is possible Tuesday and Wednesday. There is currently a marginal severe weather risk areawide Monday night.
