The Emporia State soccer team scored two goals in the second half to beat Central Oklahoma Sunday in Edmond, Okla. The teams played to a scoreless draw through 45 minutes before ESU broke the tie 15 minutes into the second half on a score by Mikhaela Goen on a feed from Hailey Gancarz. Ella Favot scored with less than 10 minutes to play to put the game away finding the back of the net for the third-straight match. The Lady Hornets outshot the Bronchos 12-5 including 8-2 in shots on goal. E-State (5-3, 2-0) is off until Sunday, October 5 when they host Fort Hays State. Kickoff is set for 1:00 p.m. at the ESU Pitch.
