A Georgia man has probation and restitution after being involved in retail crime in Lyon County, according to Kansas Attorney General Kris Kobach.
Last week, Judge Lee Fowler sentenced Jahzavya White, age 31 of Stone Mountain, to 18 months of probation with a two-year underlying prison term. White also has to pay full restitution — nearly $12,000 — to several liquor stores he defrauded. Kobach says White traveled from Georgia to Kansas as part of a “coordinated scheme.”
White had pleaded guilty to three counts of identity theft, criminal use of a financial card and conspiracy to commit criminal use of a financial card.
