The 4th annual Medicare townhall meeting at the Clint Boyer Building at the Lyon County Fairgrounds in Emporia is coming up on Wednesday. The event is in collaboration with North Central Flint Hills Area Agency on Aging, Newman Community Rx and Newman Regional Health.
Saylor Middleton, Marketing Specialist & Outreach Coordinator at Newman Regional Health says that the town hall is not a sales presentation, but an opportunity for the public to gather information to make informed health care decisions.
Specifically, the townhall meeting will delve into which Medicare plan could be best for you, including the Medicare or Medicare Advantage and the differences between all the plans.
Lucas Markowitz is the Director of Care Coordination at Newman Regional Health illustrates why understanding the different plans and how being informed is extremely important.
The townhall meeting begins at 5:30 p.m on Wednesday. For more information, visit www.newmanrh.org/
