The Emporia State volleyball team picked up their second sweep in two nights by dispatching Fort Hays State 25-22, 25-17, 25-21 at White Auditorium on Saturday night. ESU ended the first set on a 5-2 run before sizzling on offense in the second set hitting .452 in the frame to take a 2-0 lead. ESU used a 7-1 run in the middle of the third set to put away the Tigers for the win. Graduate outside hitter Nyia Anderson led all players with 16 kills and had a team-best 12 digs while hitting .325 in the match while freshman setter and right-side hitter Delainee Dexter excelled in the two-setter system with 10 kills on .318 hitting while dishing 15 assists. E-State (15-3, 6-1 MIAA) continues a five-match homestand Friday, October 17 hosting Central Missouri. First serve is set for 6:00 p.m.
