Lyon County residents who know how they want to vote in the upcoming general election can do so Saturday.
The now-traditional offsite voting event will be at the Lyon County Extension Office, 2632 West US Highway 50. Hours are from 9 am to 1 pm.
Saturday’s voting event caps off a busy week for the Lyon County Election Office, which processed the end of the voter registration period this past Tuesday and the start of the advance mail ballot process Wednesday. Residents who want to vote ahead of the general election Nov. 4 but can’t attend Saturday’s event can start voting at the Lyon County Courthouse during normal business hours Monday, with that option ending at noon Nov. 3. The last day to apply for mail ballots is Oct. 28.
