Emporia Junior Kelsey Shull had a strong showing at the 5A Golf State Tournament at the Emporia Municipal Golf Course.
She shot 108 and +37, good for 64th place out of 90 participants in the first round, falling just short of the next round.
Former Emporia Lady Spartan Elise Eckert was in 4th after the opening round on Monday.
