Thursday is Senior Night for the Emporia Spartans boys soccer team as they host Junction City at the EHS Soccer Field.
Emporia has won two matches in a row and has outscored opponents 12-1 in those games. Junction City is a competitive team as well, Spartans Head Coach Victor Ibarra likes how they match up with Junction City and looks forward to a good match.
Emporia will honor six seniors, including Brody Gilligan, Marcos Martinez, Kevin Magana, Alonzo Martinez, Nicholas Weller and Uziel Hernandez. Ibarra says Senior Night is a great opportunity to honor the hard work and sacrifices of the seniors and their families on Senior Night.
Kickoff is set for 6:15 at the EHS Soccer Field.
