Nearly 20 Evergy customers lost power briefly near Sacred Heart Church on Friday after an incident involving a business truck, a communication line and a utility pole.
Evergy spokesperson GIna Penzig says the Evco truck clipped a communication line around 11:30 am, cracking the pole. It took until after 6 pm for Evergy to complete repairs.
No injuries were reported.
