Moderate rain totals are already evident across the KVOE listening area, and more is to come through the weekend.
As of 7 am, the KVOE studios were just over half an inch, while the Emporia Municipal Airport was at 0.40 inches. Other totals:
*South and Sylvan: 0.50 inches
*3 miles east of Emporia Municipal Airport: 0.57 inches
*Allen: 0.50 inches
*Kansas Highway 99 at Lyon-Greenwood county line: 0.40 inches
*Toledo: 0.60 inches
Projections from the National Weather Service Forecast Points page indicate close to an inch of rainfall is possible through Friday, although rain may dry up to a degree for high school football games before returning. Another half-inch to an inch of rain is possible for the upcoming weekend.
