Plans for special recognition involving two local World War II soldiers are on hold, thanks to Saturday’s weather.
Plans were announced to honor Army soldiers Jesse Garcia and Robert Ramirez, but rainfall caused organizers to postpone. A reschedule date has not been announced.
Garcia had been killed in action while serving in the Philippines. Ramirez was killed in action while serving in Europe.
