As if trick-or-treating after dark isn’t enough for you and your family, you have lots of opportunities to trick-or-treat in full daylight Friday.
Emporia activities start with the rescheduled Main Street trick-or-treating opportunities in downtown Emporia. Here’s Director Casey Woods:
Downtown trick-or-treating goes from 12-2 pm. The Emporia Granada Theatre will have a free screening of Hocus Pocus starting at 2 pm. That will be followed by Boo in the Zoo. David Traylor Zoo Director Brenda Young says there is a lot ahead for the ghosts and goblins.
The Sertoma Club’s miniature train will also be part of the activity list. Activities will be from 4-5:30 pm. KVOE will broadcast from 3:30-5 pm. The zoo will close at noon Friday for final preparations.
