The KSHSAA hosted cross country championships across the state of Kansas on Saturday. In 5A at Rim Rock Farm in Lawrence, Xaden Delgado finished 13th for the Emporia High boys. The Lady Spartans were represented by Madison Evans who finished 29th.
In the 3A boys race in Lawrence, Jadyn Picolet finished 12th for Council Grove while Emory Speece ran 18th in the girls championship from Osage City.
Wamego Country Club hosted the other championships on Saturday. Kendall Wine of Lyndon was 47th in the boys 2A final while Ellei McCrory medaled for Northern Heights finishing fifth. In the 1A championship, Olpe’s Kaleb Arnold finished eighth while Haiden Ziglar ran 39th. Lillian Skalsky finished 10th for Olpe in the 1A girls race while Adelynn Harvey led Lebo running 45th.
