The Emporia State volleyball team couldn’t climb out of a 2-0 hole falling 3-2 in a two-and-a-half hour battle at #23 Missouri Western at the MWSU Fieldhouse on Saturday. After knocking off a Top 25 Griffon team at White Auditorium earlier this season, the Lady Hornets couldn’t pick up the season sweep falling 31-29, 25-16, 20-25, 18-25, 15-11. Nyia Anderson and Lavra Krizanic each led the Lady Hornets with 14 kills. Delainee Dexter picked up her second triple-double of the season with 12 kills, 28 assists, and 22 digs. ESU continued a five-match road swing facing Fort Hays State on Friday, November 7.
