Emporia has a planned traffic adjustment for West Sixth Avenue because of waterline work.
For up to two weeks, the center turn lane and inside through lanes on Sixth are being closed at West for waterline construction. West Street traffic at Sixth will need to make right turns only during this phase of the work.
This project was announced Tuesday evening, shortly before emergency repairs were needed at the intersection.
